The terms, in plain English.

Who we are

rebootd. is a trading name of Brightlines Translation Limited, a UK registered company. When these terms say we, us, or rebootd., they mean Brightlines Translation Limited. When they say you, they mean the person or business buying a service from us.

These terms are written in plain English on purpose. They apply to every rebootd. service unless a specific campaign page says otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

VAT

Every price shown on this site includes VAT at the current standard rate of 20%. The figure you see is the figure you pay. There is nothing added at checkout.

Brightlines Translation Limited is VAT registered under number GB753088421. If your business is VAT registered and you need a VAT invoice, email hello@rebootd.co.uk and we will send one.

The brand direction document

The brand direction document costs £99 including VAT, paid upfront. It is delivered within 72 hours of payment and includes competitive research, a colour palette recommendation, a typography pairing, and a copy voice chosen for your business and sector.

The £99 is credited in full against your build total if you go ahead. The document is yours to keep whether or not you build with us.

If the document does not feel right, tell us what missed the mark and we will revise it. If the revised document still does not feel right, we refund your £99 in full, processed within 7 working days.

The website build

A full website build starts at £1,800 including VAT. The exact total depends on the pages and options you choose, and is shown to you before you commit.

Payment works in three stages. The £99 brand direction document fee is paid first and credited in full. When you confirm your direction, a deposit of 50% of the build total, less the £99 already paid, starts the build. The remaining 50% is due on completion, before your site goes live.

Your homepage is built first and sent to you for review. One round of revisions is included. Once approved, we build the remaining pages in the same style. Most sites are live within two weeks of you confirming your direction.

You can cancel your build at any time by emailing hello@rebootd.co.uk.

If you cancel before we start work on your build, we refund your deposit in full, processed within 7 working days.

Once the build has started, your homepage is delivered for review with one round of revisions included. If the revised homepage still does not feel right and you decide not to continue, we refund your deposit less a fixed charge of £420 including VAT for the design and build work completed. Your brand direction document remains yours to keep.

Once you approve your homepage, your deposit is no longer refundable. The final 50% is only due when your site is complete, so you never pay for pages that have not been built.

Once your site is live and your final payment has been made, payments are not refundable.

Hosting and support

Hosting is £60 per month including VAT and covers hosting, security, and minor content changes. There is no minimum term and you can cancel any time.

If a monthly payment fails, we allow a 14 day grace period. After that your site may be deactivated until payment resumes. If you cancel or your subscription ends, you have 90 days to export your content.

Hosting is billed monthly in advance. If you cancel, your hosting continues to the end of the month you have already paid for and then stops. We do not refund part months.

Ownership

You own your website: the code, the copy, the original images we create for you, and your brand direction document. Where we use licensed stock images, you receive the right to use them on your site rather than copyright ownership of the image itself. If you ever want to move your site elsewhere, we help you do it. There is no lock-in and no exit fee.

Functionality that runs on our platform, such as booking and online payments, works only while hosted with us. If you move your site elsewhere, those features do not transfer, and enquiries route through your contact page instead.

Optional extras

Extra content pages, such as a blog, FAQ, portfolio, testimonials, or team page, are one-off costs added to your build total.

Booking and online payments are optional monthly subscriptions, active from the day your site goes live. You can cancel them at any time.

The website audit

The audit costs £60 including VAT and covers technical SEO, page speed, AI search readiness, and keyword visibility, delivered as a plain-English report. The £60 is credited in full against a build if you go ahead. The audit fee is not refundable once the report has been delivered.

Refunds at a glance

Every rebootd. service has a clear refund position, set out in the sections above. In short: the £99 brand direction document is refunded in full if a revision still does not feel right. The £60 audit is not refundable once delivered but is credited against a build. Your build deposit is refunded in full if you cancel before work starts, refunded less a fixed £420 charge if the revised homepage is not right and you do not continue, and is non refundable once your homepage is approved. Hosting can be cancelled at any time and stops at the end of the paid month.

All refunds are processed within 7 working days to the payment method you used. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. To request a refund, email hello@rebootd.co.uk.

Campaign offers

From time to time we run offers such as discounted or free builds. The specific conditions of each offer are shown on the campaign page and form part of these terms for that offer.
